The charitable organization “Tree of My Life” has been operating in Zakarpattia for over a year. It provides psychological support to countrymen and internally displaced persons in Uzhhorod, Mukachevo, and Svaliava.
The organization seeks to extend its network of centers in all districts of the region to reach even more people with highly qualified assistance. This was reported by the organization’s representatives during a meeting with the Deputy Head of the Regional State Administration Petro Dobromilsky.
“Informing and supporting such groups of people is now among our priorities. The psychological traumas caused by the war do not disappear without a trace and require a long and comprehensive recovery. That is why we are trying to make the rehabilitation process as accessible as possible for everyone who needs it,” emphasized Mr. Dobromilsky.
According to him, special attention should be paid to working with defenders and veterans, as well as with families who lost loved ones in the war. Regional, national, and international partners are involved in this process, so the Regional State Administration welcomes cooperation with the Tree of My Life charitable organization.
Psychological and resource support classes are held weekly in a group format. Visitors can get advice from professional psychologists, psychoanalysts, psychotherapists: art therapists, Gestalt counselors and resource-oriented counselors.
